Climate, sustainability, and relief – the role of space

International support- and relief organizations such as the UN have explicit needs which may be supported by space services and infrastructure. International cooperating bodies such as the SCO (Space Climate Observatory) can provide resources which cover the expressed needs. Cooperation with relevant governments for local implementation, stimulation of local added value and entrepreneurship, must be aligned with proper funding schemes. The panel will discuss current status and way forward for solving these intricate challenges.
