Why am I being charged a credit card processing fee when I register online?

Your registration total includes a non-refundable payment processing fee that enables Space Foundation to minimize registration price increases as much as possible, while still delivering a world-class Symposium experience. This fee is paid to a third party that provides these services for the Space Foundation and is not considered revenue for the Space Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. If you prefer not to pay this transaction fee, you have the choice to pay via check. Online payment is an alternative to traditional types of payments and we are pleased to be able to continue to provide this convenience for our customers.
