Brigadier-General G. Michael (Mike) Adamson joined the RCAF in 1993 and received his Navigator’s Wings in 1995. He has had an extensive career as a CP-140(A) Aurora Nav/Com.
Based mostly in Nova Scotia, Adamson has time as CO of 405 Squadron as well as Commander, 14 Wing Greenwood. He holds a BA in Political Science/Int’l Affairs, and a Masters in Defence Studies from RMC Kingston.
In 2020, he was promoted to current rank and became RCAF Director General Space and Joint Force Space Component Commander. On 22 July 2022, BGen Adamson became the inaugural Commander of 3 Canadian Space Division.
