Bruce Doty is the Vice President of Business Development for RAM Aviation, Space & Defense, an engineering and manufacturing firm providing primarily solenoid valves used in rockets, spacecraft, satellites, and many aircraft applications. RAM AS&D was founded by Ray and Melzie Ganowsky in 1975, nearly 50 years ago; RAM has a significant pedigree in spaceflight hardware, including human-flight qualified valves.
Bruce was born and raised in a small town in Nevada – Logandale. He received his Business Management degree with an emphasis in Operations from Brigham Young University. After an initial eight-year opportunity at a micro-chip manufacturing company, Bruce joined RAM where he has served in multiple roles, but primarily as the Director of Operations, a position he enjoyed for nearly 24 years. During this time, RAM experienced unprecedented growth, including significant market expansion, and Bruce led a tremendous operations team that successfully met every expectation. Bruce was asked to join the Business Development team 3 years ago where he has continued to build key customer relationships and expand RAM’s market presence.
