Frontier Electronic Systems (FES)

Dr. Brenda Rolls is the President and CEO of Frontier Electronic Systems (FES), a small Oklahoma-based company that specializes in engineering and manufacturing advanced electronic equipment for various U.S. space and defense missions. FES has delivered mission critical hardware since 1981, and the first human spaceflight hardware in 1998. Brenda, who is an Oklahoma native and a member of the Chickasaw tribe, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Administration from Oklahoma State University and a Doctor of Psychology degree from Biola University in La Mirada, California. She is the second-generation owner of the company, which employs 150 people in Oklahoma, and she took over as President and CEO of FES in 2008. Brenda currently serves on the Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science and Technology (OCAST) board and chairs the board for the Oklahoma Space Industry Development Authority (OSIDA).
